[TV] South Punked?
Anyone watching South Park anymore? Or should I say does anyone think it’s still funny (the new episodes)?
You can watch them online now you know.
[Movie] Porn-Oh (NSFW)
So I’m sure all you Kevin Smith fans out there are rabidly waiting for the release of his latest, ehm… “film” Zack and Miri Make a Porno which comes out in late October.
It seems that he (Smith) is sort of bending over so to speak… again, with what appears to be The Undeclared, Knocked Up, 40 Year Old, Sarah Marshall part Deux.
I’m just saying is all… Of course, I know I’ll be interested in seeing it, for sure on DVD in December. ;-)]
[MovieZ/Event] Kick Assery
Here’s a shout out to all my loyal readers…. (you both are great). ;-)]
I’m sure in it with the kick off of the NFL’s 2008-2009 season but are you ready for something even bigger?
Yes bigger.
In just forty six days, the My Name Is Bruce Promo-Tour kicks off.
It’s going to be in at least twenty “U.S.” cities with some double-dates in certain larger cities.
Wait you’ve never heard of of My Name Is Bruce? Worse yet you’ve never heard of Bruce Campbell?
Consider yourself in the know (in a B minus sort of way) now.
Anyways the preliminary tour list is as follows:
10/26 Austin, TX [Alamo Drafthouse Black Curtain screening/premiere with Harry Knowles.]
10/31-11/2 NYC
11/5 Philadelphia, PA
11/7 Boston, MA
11/9 Hartford, CT
11/12 New Haven, CT
11/14 Baltimore, MD
11/15 Washington D.C.
11/19 Columbus, OH
11/20 Toledo, OH 11/21-23 Detroit, MI
11/28-30 Chicago, IL
12/3 Madison, WI
12/5-7 Minneapolis, MN
12/12 Seattle, WA
12/13-14 Portland, OR
12/15 Medford, OR
12/17 San Francisco, CA
12/18 Berkeley, CA
12/19-21 Los Angeles, CA
All of the Pac.NW’rs should be excited with the four regional tour dates scheduled. Zen baby.
Why should you be excited? Well because Bruce himself will be there “to introduce the film and do a spirited Q&A afterward“, genius right!?
No word yet on venues or advanced ticket sales but I’m sure that will get out the pipe quickly…. you can scoop up more sugar over here, baby.
Enjoy.

Double Chin Sad Man: George Carlin Out @ 71
From AP Writer Keith St. Clair:
Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television. Some People Are Stupid. Stuff. People I Can Do Without.
George Carlin, who died of heart failure Sunday at 71, leaves behind not only a series of memorable routines, but a legal legacy: His most celebrated monologue, a frantic, informed riff on those infamous seven words, led to a Supreme Court decision on broadcasting offensive language.

[MovieZ] Death At A Funeral

The Bunny and I caught Death At A Funeral this past week and were entertained for the most part. It’s pretty standard UK comedic faire and did make me want to sit through the “real” Office again… (this proved impossible since someone still has my copy, as well as some other important DVDs).
I was pretty tickled by Alan Tudyk’s appearance in the film, I mean there should just be more Steve the Pirate everywhere.
[MovieZ] Forgetting Seth Rogen

So it’s finally arrived the latest Apatow produced flic Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
It is quite possible that this version of the trailer spoils all the really funny parts of the movie… (you’ve been warned).
There’s no Seth Rogen though… which is kinda like, well a women f***’g a horse… “I kinda felt bad for the horse.”
