[GameZ] Rock Banding & Stuff

It’s that time of week again… Rock Band DLC, this week looks like:
Beetlebum as made famous by Blur (cover)
Hier Kommt Alex by Die Toten Hosen (master)
Countdown to Insanity by H-BlockX (master)
Perfekte Welle by Juli (master)
Manu Chao by Les Wampas (master)
Hysteria by Muse (master)
Rock N Roll Star by Oasis (master)
New Wave by Pleymo (master)
Monsoon by Tokio Hotel (master)
No track pack again this week so if you want to snag a discount you’ll need to buy something else… otherwise it’s $18 for all.
But there was this post over on the official Rock Band forums which announced the second full album release; The Cars – The Cars.
Sweet!!!
That’s going to run you $2 per or $15 for the entire thing which saves you some “change”.
So keep rockin’ y’all!
Bear + Bear – Goldilocks
There’s few times you wake up and think wow, when is that…
This past Saturday was one of those days for me. I awoke at approximately fourishness… and headed back to tranquil around five thirty… which was roughly the time i needed to get up to take the Bunny to the flying carpet runway.
After dropping the “sexy” and saying good bye I headed to get my mop chopped…… unfortunately it was still quite the hours until my resident weed-whacker-wielder was open for business.
This meant that I would stop at the ‘rents bearing gifts of dough nuts and semi-coherent ramblings of anarchy. After a lengthy chat and a unexpectedly early text from the P.D I would head to do the deed, and when it was done I was $20 lighter in the wallet and five pounds lighter in the head.
After the weed whacking was done I hit up P.D for a quick morning trip the Laurelwood Brew Pub, where it turns out… they serve breakfast on Saturday and Sundays. [BONUS]
Mmm, The Breakfast of Beer Gut Champions
Nothing like the smoothness of a Mother Lodge Golden Ale to chase the previous nights three pitchers, one cask, two twenty-twos and two cans. [Yes needless to say I was not feeling the best.] We ate our breakfast and got out of the pub having only partaken in one, yes only one pint of liquid yummy yum yums.
At breakfast it was decided we should hit up a record shop that P.D had always wanted to check out.
We trecked out to the down town area and found some parking.
We headed out towards what we thought was the correct direction… it turns out, it actually was… but the store was no more. Damn.
So we decided to just hoof it further up the way and hit up Everday Music. There was a lot of pretty sweet vinyl there, however the prices were quite bitter.
One cool thing was the Etta James Peaches LP I saw on the wall.
After a few minutes we picked up our stacks and headed back towards the car to “plug the meters”. After which time we headed back up the way to locate the “new” Deschutes Brewery located somewhere in the general area of the “Pearl”.
We got seated pretty quickly and ordered some brew promptly.
We both ordered pizzas as well. Incidentally there was a pretty cool bottle of hot sauce on the table too.
Extra Hot!
P.D noticed something that was about ten types of awesome. The casks setting all over the front entry way.
So of course this meant we needed two one for each of us. I mean they have a freakin’ metal handle!!!
After a few more pints we parted ways and I headed (cask in hand) to the home front to get some mad Rock Band action in. (I went through the entire Expert Solo Career set list without dying once until I reached Green Grass and High Tides. DAMN I HATE THAT SONG!!!!)

96% Awwwww!!!
Needless to that was the end of my evening.
