[PC] The Season of Same?

Old Faithful. . ?
So I just realized the other day that I haven’t upgraded my PC since mid to late ‘04. And I’m again lagging behind the so-called “Tech-Curve”.
- SilentX PC Case
- Abit IC7-G Motherboard
- Intel 3.2GHz HT CPU
- OCZ Tech. Plat. 3GB RAM
- Geforce BFG Tech. 6800GT [AGP]
- Sony DVD-RW [Internal]
- Sony DVD-RW [External]
- WD Raptor 36GB Hard Drive [PRIMARY (Removable)]
- WD Raptor 36GB Hard Drive [AUDIO (Removable)]
- WD Raptor 72GB Hard Drive [GAMEZ (Removable)]
- WD 160GB Hard Drive [DATA (x3)]
- WD 500GB Hard Drive [MOVIEZ/MUSIC]
- [IDE (Removable)]
So it’s not like I can’t do all the these that I “need” to do with what I have… it’s just that the cap for me in terms of workload seems so small in comparison to what “I could do”.
But you know that new IP35P looks pretty damn sexy.

Abit IP35P
Perhaps when the time comes I’ll just upgrade my DAW setup by building a separate system… which could possibly contain a silky smooth BFG NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 1GB PCIe 2.0, mmmmmmm.
[GameZ] This Week In Rock
The announcement for tomorrow’s DLC release for Rock Band by Harmonix is out.
And… still no mention of any full album releases… this is probably to be expected since last week saw the release of a nearly complete Boston album.
However we do have the musical styling’s of one Jonathan Coulton in the mix.
If you don’t know who he is you should peep that out here.
[GameZ] The Slack-Effect?
Mass Effect
Hey everyone on this glorious “spring” day, coming to you from the awesomesauceyness that is the Pac.NW… hope your weekend(s) were all sorts of kick-assery.
Mine was of sorts a slacktastic weekend… I ended up spending the majority of it playing Mass Effect on Xbox 360.
Anyone that played Knights of the Old Republic knows the type of work that BioWare did on that game and how much fun those types of games are for a lot of people, especially the “sci-fi buffs” out there.
For Mass Effect they really upped their game so to speak, the cast of characters and actors that lent their voice performances to the game is impressive to say the least.
In twelve hours over the course of two days I unlocked a mere six achievements for a score of one hundred and thirty five.
But that doesn’t really matter to me, the game is an amazing amount of fun… just all sorts of goodness that has to be experienced to be full understood, or some such thing.
Anyways, back to work.
