[Trip] Bunnily Ever After 3/3
“Why don’t we, just slip away,
to another side, where greedy winds
glide
darling, why don’t we just fall asleep dream the same dream
and only feel where our bodies meet” – boy eats drum machine
“O ship of the body -ship of the soul- voyaging, voyaging, voyaging.” – Walt Whitman
So the morning broke upon us more quickly than we had anticipated… soon we’d have to leave the soothing Oregon coast and head back to the soul stifling ideas of the “work place” and it’s evil red headed step twin called “responsibility”.
But before that… the Bunny and the Bear would partake in one last wondrous culinary adventure on the sweet Pacific shores, better known as B.B.s
We strolled around and played with some bunnies, checked out the beach at sunrise then headed back inside.
We packed our things and rinsed off the slackness residue that remained from the day previous and headed down the hotel elevator to the parking lot with bags in tow.
Then it’s the last walk to our beloved watering hole.
After being seated we sort of sat looking over the menu as if there just weren’t enough hours in the day to consume all the yummy goodness that was the idea of breakfast that morn’.
It took us a minute but we ordered the Biscuits and Gravy and the Eggs Benedict, we also knew that we couldn’t leave this sacred of all temples without having imbibed more of the sweet happy, yummy nectar that is the Cream Ale.

While we drank and ate we reminisced of day trips past, and how much fun it would be to be able to stay at the coast for an extended period of time with our friends in one of the large houses around town.
Finally we were served our breakfast and we began to do what we do… enjoy the moment.
Which brings us back to the beginning of sorts….
We began this trip just two short days ago with only one week of planning (barely) and the drive to just chill in the breeze of the Oregon shore. Which we accomplished in spades.
But we’re at the end of this journey. This is usually the part in the story where the narrator talks about how things don’t really end and it’s not about the this or that particular thing but the memories, etc.
But I’m not going to, because it’s redundant which makes it unnecessary… but more importantly because I disagree… it’s about both… however, there’s really no distinction between the two, or more…. ever.
