Prey For More

Last night I had a ‘moment’ and not the moment of clarity alcoholics talk about. I just had a small window of time to do some gaming and couldn’t log onto WoW but due to someone’s ummm, heavy bong hit? They released a patch before it was supposed to be during prime time and caused many players to not be able to login.

However that turned out to be a blessing, when I returned from my walk and still couldn’t login I loaded up the Prey Demo which I had downloaded earlier.

And let me just say:

Dear Lord this game is prettier Angelina Jolie’s lips. [drool]

So the basic premise is this, Tonto lost the Lone Ranger and is now pissed and his demons haunt him. (Ok so that was lame, but I think my point about Tonto is still valid.) Or aliens or something like that…

And you even have a spirit mode where you don’t really die but you do, it’s really cool:

Some of the graphics in the game are just phenomenal, I only played the game at 1024×768 with all options maxxed out and man it was creamy smooth fun.

But all the hype over this game is legit, I blew right on past the demo real quick like on Normal mode and I have to say one of the few demos that made me say; “Mu nuts itch.”

Well that and I want to snag this title, and they announced yesterday that it went ‘GOLD’.

EBGames.com lists both the regular edition and limited edition of Prey for delivery on 07/10/2006, which means no solid fraggin’ during 4th week. The limited edition comes with some non-actioned figure or something, and goes for $59.99 the regular version is only $10.00 less.

Anyways this is tight… definitely check this one out.

Ok I didn’t want to say anything about it, but now I have to.

I have a dry red itchiness coming from my ears, (no a Kebler Elf did not dry-hump my skull). I would have much preferred that.

No unfortunately I had the misfortune of partaking of one of the ‘Heiresses’ so called ‘Singles’ from her pasted together karaoke sessions otherwise known as an album.

I happened on it be either hex or drunkenness. (I deny neither and confirm both.) It’s entitled Stars Are Blind, and let me just say I wish I were deaf when I happened on it.

I had to go find something about this debacle so I came across this gem from a MTV.com article:

Now here’s the part that really pisses me off, the god damn riff they used is not bad… it’s like Lil’ Jon you don’t want to like it but god damn if it doesn’t make your ass shake. Which granted could just be the 808 kicks and sub bass rumble but either way I tingled.
